What is the Digital Euro?

The Digital Euro, issued by the European Central Bank, is designed for electronic payments through cards or smartphone apps. Its primary aim is to enhance payment security and reliability.

The development of the digital euro should start next month, in October 2023.

With the digital euro, the ECB would be able to track all your payments.

This will completely eliminate the benefits of cash payments, which guarantee anonymity and privacy.

Cash is less and less used for payments, in fact online and contactless payments have soared since 2020.

If this trend were to continue, cash could disappear at some point.

On the other hand, Bitcoin doesn’t require permissions for a wallet, is decentralized, and can be used worldwide.

With only 21 million Bitcoins in existence, it’s not influenced by any central authority.

So, owning Bitcoin is crucial if you want to secure your financial freedom and avoid digital surveillance.

Let me know in the comments your thoughts and reach out if you’re interested in Bitcoin.
