?This is the latest update about my investment portfolio on eToro.
Table of Contents
Indices
? I’m still SHORT on the Nasdaq via $SQQQ (ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ), the ETF that provides three times the inverse exposure of the daily performance of the NASDAQ 100 Index.
I’m going to keep my 2 positions open because I’m expecting the market to go down again.
The Nasdaq ($NSDQ100) broke the short term upward trend line, so this is confirming my expectation, however, if the market keeps going up, it will trigger my stop loss.
Same for the S&P 500 ($SPX500) and the Dow Jones ($DJ30).
These two are trading below the 200 moving average, but the Nasdaq is trading above that.
However the fundamentals are still not good (high unemployment rate, lockdown still in place, a lot of businesses are closed, etc).
Commodities
Gold ($GOLD) is moving sideways, in a range between $1680 and $1730.
Silver ($SILVER) is also moving sideways, in a range between $14.70 and $15.70.
So at the moment, I prefer to stay out and wait to see what happens next.
Oil ($OIL) broke the downward trend line, so it might go up, but we should wait for a retest.
I won’t be surprised if it goes down, however, as the lockdown is still in place.
I currently have 4 LONG positions on the ETF $USO and one pending order.
If it goes up, I’m happy, but if it goes down more I will just open new LONG positions.
Cryptocurrencies
? Bitcoin ($BTC) went up a lot in a few days and it’s currently testing the resistance at around $8900. The next will be at around $9500.
If it can break above $9500 it will be a strong bullish signal.
Before that, it could retest the support at $8300 and around $7800.
Either way, I’m going to hold my LONG positions, because in the long term I’m still bullish.
The Bitcoin halving will happen in about 9 days and I’m still expecting the price of Bitcoin and all the Altcoins to go up. ?
P.s. if you want to invest only in Bitcoin, you can copy my second account dedicated only to Bitcoin investing.
? All the other crypto, such as Ethereum ($ETHEREUM), Ethereum Classic ($ETC), Stellar ($XLM), NEO ($NEO), EOS ($EOS), Cardano ($ADA), IOTA ($MIOTA), ZCASH ($ZEC), TRON ($TRX), Tezos ($XTZ), Binance Coin ($BNB), Bitcoin Cash ($BCH), Ripple ($XRP), Dash ($DASH) and Litecoin ($LTC) all look in an uptrend at the moment, which is great, because I have LONG positions.
I tend to avoid investing in a single stock because I prefer to diversify the risk and rather invest in an ETF tracking an Index.
?⚕️ However, I’m still LONG on $SAN.PA (Sanofi), which is a French company in the Healthcare sector, because it might be one of the companies that might find the vaccine for the Coronavirus.
I might be wrong on this, so I’ve invested only a small percentage on this stock, to reduce the risk of loss.
So far, this position is at more than 15% profit.
